NEOMED offers a one-year, post-residency training program offered to graduates of an ACGME-accredited in psychiatry or primary care (family, internal, pediatric medicine and others) training program for physicians working in settings seeking to integrate primary care and community mental health care.

Fellows are employed by organizations providing integrated primary care and mental health and/or addictions treatment. They dedicate four and a half days per week to clinical work and program development and a half day to didactics and supervision. The academic curriculum covers essential topics in community psychiatry, primary care, health care integration and administration. Fellows collaboratively complete a practicum in integrated health care administration.
